Delphin Bendickson with her daughter Brenda

This is my Mom, Delphin Bendickson and that funny girl sneaking into part of the picture...well, that is my sister, Brenda. Who am I? Well, my name is Laurie and this is my gift to all of you and to my wonderful mother whom I love very much.

My Mom has a lot of friends here in Fallon, Nevada. Part of this website is being dedicated to her everlasting memory.

This is my favorite picture of her. It was taken somewhere around 1978.

Here are some of my fond memories. This is a really big project, so please be patient as it takes time to make this grow. Please return often as you just never know what story you will see next.

Recipes and their Story

This is a very special puzzle made in my Mother's honor,
because I love her so very much for everything she taught me!

Scraboku brings the letter fun of "Scrabble" and the number fun of "Sudoku" together in one cool game. Use the Sudoku puzzle on the left to place the right number in each square to find the hidden words that will answer the questions below. Roll your mouse over the Scraboku Squirrel to give you a hint to find the correct letter. Note: Some of the squirrels have hints to the answer, but others will have a quote to share.

This puzzle will also give you some hints. Just find the missing numbers to complete the set. Example: If you have 123 and a 456, the missing numbers are 789.

In war it does not matter who is right, but who is left.

This word is something that my mother taught...
